  • Natural Diamonds: Natural diamonds are created under the pressure of earth’s crust over millions of years. Once created they are mined, cut and polished. It is no secret that the quest for diamonds has contributed to human suffering. The impact has been especially severe in Africa, which contains much of the world’s natural diamond supply. Due to the controversial mining process involved, Natural Diamonds are considered less ethical than other alternatives. Natural diamonds are also considerably more expensive than other alternatives due to it’s finite supply.

Lab Grown Diamonds: Lab grown diamonds contain the same physical, chemical, and optical characteristics as natural diamonds, and exhibit the same fire, scintillation, and sparkle. The main difference between Lab Grown and Natural diamonds is that Lab Grown Diamonds are conflict-free, available in abundance and more cost-effective than natural diamonds of comparable size and quality.

  • Lab Grown Diamond: As previously stated, Lab grown diamonds contain the same physical, chemical, and optical characteristics as natural diamonds. They exhibit the same fire, scintillation, and sparkle as natural diamonds but are conflict-free and more cost effective than natural diamonds.

Moissanite: Contrary to popular belief, Moissanites are not fake diamonds. Moissanites (as opposed to cubic zirconia) are gemstones in their own right that are extremely rare and made of naturally occurring silicon carbide and its various crystalline polymorphs or can be lab created. The main difference between Moissanite and Lab grown diamonds is that Moissanite is the second hardest material to diamonds on the Mohs hardness scale, with more fire and brilliance than a diamond. Additionally, Moissanite stones are eco-friendly and more budget friendly compare to any diamond.
